Chicago Bike Safety Advocacy Map

Use this map to make biking the fastest and safest form of travel around the city for everyone! The map will show the safest route and fastest route and calculate key streets that could make the safe route faster and the fast routes safer!

Instructions: The Level of Traffic Stress (LTS) shows which routes are safest for kids, parents, and folks with a death wish. Use the bar at the top to select which describes you and then put in a starting location. Some common nearby destination will come up if you want to explore the safety of your neighborhood or put in an address of where you want to go. The map will show the safe and fastest routes as well as what changes can be made to make the safe routes fast and the fast routes safe!
