Citywide Organizations

  • Abundant Housing Illinois (AHIL) is the Illinois chapter of YIMBY Action and partners with Strong Towns Chicago on many initiatives.

  • The Chicago Growth Project is a PAC committed to electing more forward-thinking leaders who realize the best way through the city’s toughest issues is through building more housing, better transit, stronger businesses, and safer communities.

  • Better Streets Chicago is a transit advocacy organization looking to the streets to make Chicago more livable, equitable and safe.

  • Congress for the New Urbanism Chicago is the Chicago chapter of the Congress for the New Urbanism (CNU).

Neighborhood Organizations

  • Neighbors of Edgewater and Uptown (NEU) is a grassroots organization advocating for walkable, transit-oriented, housing-rich neighborhoods on Chicago's Far North Side.

  • Lakeview Urbanists is a Lakeview neighborhood organization that advocates for walkable, cycleable, sustainable, transit-oriented, housing-rich neighborhoods.

  • Northwest Neighborhood Alliance is a neighborhood organization representing the Logan Square, West Town, and Humboldt Park community areas.
