“Join us for a slow-roll bicycle ride through the upcoming safe streets improvements on Humboldt Drive and Grand Avenue!
This year, Grand Avenue and Humboldt Drive will both be receiving new protected bike lanes, along with other safety improvements like pedestrian refuge islands and repainted crosswalks. We have been anticipating these improvements for a long time, and we are very excited that they are finally happening!
To celebrate, the Northwest Neighborhood Alliance is partnering with Chicago Bike Grid Now to put on a slow-roll group ride along Grand Avenue and Humboldt Drive. All ages and abilities are welcome!
We'll be meeting at The Center Of Order And Experimentation at 11 AM on Sunday, April12th, and planning to hit the road at 11:30 (make sure to grab a coffee or a pastry before then and support a local business!).”
