Ravenswood Walking Tour, 7/10 - In partnership with the Greater Rockwell Organization and Heart of Lincoln Square, this free walking tour will take us through a beautiful part of Chicago and highlight the work of these two organizations. Afterwards, join us for a free Neighborhood Night at the DANK Haus!
Better Streets Chicago Save Transit Raley at Daley plaza, 7/12 - The CTA, Pace, and Metra are facing potentially catastrophic 40% cuts if the state legislature doesn’t come up with funding. Join Better Streets Chicago and Strong Towns Chicago at this rally to show lawmakers that we need to save transit!
Plan Jam/Hackathon, 7/13 - Come hang out and work on something for Strong Towns Chicago! This is a chill working session, anyone can participate, and no tech background is necessary. You can draft an op-ed, help us with the website, brainstorm a video idea, etc! Snaccccs will be provided.
Zoning Committee, 7/15 - #FloodTheZone with us at the Chicago City Council Zoning Committee meeting to support the Broadway Upzoning, 1840 N Marcey, and parking reform! No experience necessary, check out the link for tips and tricks for attending City Council meetings.
