Upcoming May/June Events

We have 3 upcoming events we’d like to invite everyone to! Reminder you can see upcoming events on our calendar page as well!

1.     Book Club, 5/24, 11am-12pm: Caleb Schemmel will be leading a discussion on Don’t Go: Stories of Segregation and How To Disrupt It by Tonika Lewis. They’ll be meeting at Kapej Coffee Roasters at 1447 N Sedgwick. Feel free to join even if you haven’t 100% finished the book. There’s no eventbrite, just show up!

2.     Urbanist Board Game Night, 5/28, 6-9pm: Join fellow STC followers for a night of urbanist board games. Some board games will be provided, but bring any of your own that you want to play too. Spots are limited, so be sure to RSVP in the eventbrite link. Shoutout to Malika Kodial for organizing the event! We’ll be playing at Chicagoland Games Dice Dojo in Edgewater.

3.     Monthly Members Meeting, 6/4, 6:30-7:30pm: Meetup with fellow STC followers to discuss current initiatives and ways to get involved. Snacks provided! Meeting will be at the Near North Branch Public Library. Eventbrite here.
